Ọfẹrẹ’gẹ̀gẹ̀, Let Peace Awake. The performance consists of a procession integrating a series of Ifá rituals for peace and mental healing, gathering energy for sustenance and self-balance in our catastrophic world. My walk is a response to climate change, wars and military conflicts, human rights violations and global health issues. It also references the Odu Ifá divination system, Òfún Ọ̀sá, which provides connection with our intrinsic nature and sacred values of self, community transformation, and growth. These rituals propose a way to find again balance and harmony, protection and guidance, and are traditionally believed to aid spiritual awakening, wisdom, and in-depth knowledge on humane existence.
