Recover Laboratory’s artistic directors Sofi Häkkinen and Miradonna Sirkka invite you on a journey to a mysterious, underground place. They offer you a multi-art encounter and installation that builds up along with its participants. Drawing on visual and performance art, the work takes participants on a journey into the unknown, where they eventually encounter something familiar. Welcome<3!

Recover Laboratory is a multi-art collective whose surrealistic works and art experiences are based on contact between people, along with honesty and the freedom provided by art. In RecLab’s works, moments stretch and stop as glitches, where anything can happen – just like on an ordinary weekday.

Recover Laboratory’a artistic directors Sofi Häkkinen and Miradonna Sirkka will create a multi-art experience for New Performance Turku Biennale.

Arrival and accessibility information

We kindly ask you to arrive well on time. Latecomers cannot attend the performance. Exact meeting spot for the performance will be announced later.

Please note, that there are no public toilets on site. The space is not accessible, and the work contains walking in the non-accessible premises. Flat shoes are recommended for participants.

The venue has strong smells and high places. 

We recommend arriving by foot, bike or with public transportation (bus number 12). Parking spaces close to the site are very limited.
